Business Trip Toronto

Are you interested in an international career? Do you want to experience cultural differences and get to know international businesses in the field of econometrics?

From 29 April until 7 May 2024, the annual business trip will take place. This year, we will fly off to Toronto, Canada. During this trip, you will explore Toronto through various social and cultural activities and visit several companies in the city. The slides from the information session can be found here. 

The costs of the trip are €729 and include the following:

-  Flights Amsterdam-Toronto and v.v.
- Public transport in Toronto
-  Top-rated accommodation just outside Toronto (4 people per room)
-  Daily breakfast
- Trip to Niagara Falls + other cultural activity
- Costs of visa
- One nice dinner

In addition, before flying off to Toronto, you will get the opportunity to meet four diverse companies through inhouse days hosted in the Netherlands. 

- Flow Traders on 7 March from 15:00 - 17:30 in Amsterdam
- Ciphix on 14 March in Rotterdam
- NN Group on 19 March from 13:00 - 17:00 in Rotterdam
- Van Lanschot Kempen 28 March from 13:30 - 17:00 in Amsterdam 

These inhouse days will take place during the first weeks of block 4 of this academic year, and the transport costs can be declared. The participating companies in Toronto will be kept as a surprise!
