Become a LED volunteer!
Are you in the second year of your bachelor and motivated to help at the biggest econometrics recruitment event of the Netherlands? Then sign up here to become a volunteer at the National Econometricians Day 2025 (LED).
This year the LED will be on Thursday 6 February 2025 at NBC Congrescentrum in Nieuwegein. The LED is organised by FAECTOR, so being a volunteer is a very unique chance to be part of the organisation of this event.
The LED is a large recruitment event for econometrics students in the Netherlands who are in the third year of their bachelor or higher. During this day, students and companies get the chance to get to know each other through various activities. There will be plenary sessions, company cases, speeddates, a company fair, a networking drink and a three-course recruitment dinner. Finally, the students can go to the LED Afterparty in the city centre of Utrecht. Since the event is only open to Bachelor 3+ students, we offer second-year students the opportunity to become a volunteer at the LED. This is a unique chance to get a first impression of the annual recruitment event and to benefit from all the non-recruitment parts of the LED.
As a preparation for the event, two drinks will be held on Tuesday 3 December and Monday 3 February where you will receive more important information about the LED and get to know the committee and other volunteers.
What can be expected from you as a volunteer?
- Set up the Company Fair and Speeddates
- Welcome and register students
- Guide students and companies through the building
- Answer questions from students
- Assist in other minor tasks that occur during the day
