 onsist of several weekly online guest lectures. About the event On the 12
 th of January 2021\, 17:00-19:00\, Dr. Keith Black will give an introduct
 ory lecture on the various applications of machine learning and data scien
 ce in finance. Briefly discussing real-life cases in the investment world 
 such as how hedge-funds use the power of big data and AI to beat the marke
 t. Dr. Black will also briefly cover the different financial actors that a
 re benefiting from machine learning such as asset managers and investmen
