DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the FAECTOR ALS Charity Run! Join us for a fun 5km r
 un followed by a refreshing (and optional) plunge into the cold water of 
 the Kralingse Plas. The participation fee for the event is €5. All proce
 eds from this event will go towards Stichting ALS Nederland\, supporting t
 he fight against ALS. This progressive neurodegenerative disease affects n
 erve cells in the brain and spinal cord\, leading to muscle weakness\, dif
 ficulty speaking\, and eventually\, paralysis. As a special feature of thi
 s year's charity run\, we are offering the opportunity for participants to
  vote for their favourite board member or committee member to take a plung
 e into the cold water. For a small donation of €2\, you can cast your vo
 te and help raise even more money for this important cause. You can vote a

 n and the optional plunge\, warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and relax
  with your fellow participants. The FAECTOR ALS Charity Run will take plac
 e on the 17th of January at 15:00. By participating in this charity run\, 
 you will not only get a chance to challenge yourself and have a fun day ou
 t\, but you will also be making a difference in the lives of those living
